Flourishing in Ministry
Coaching Network Membership Terms
Last Updated: July 30, 2026
1. Welcome to the Coaching Network
The Flourishing in Ministry (FiM) Coaching Network is a membership-based professional community for approved ministry coaches and a project of Biola University's Mental Health and the Church Initiative. By joining, you become part of a peer network committed to growing as coaches and supporting one another in the work of helping ministry leaders flourish.
These terms describe what you can expect from us, what we ask of you, and how the membership works. They apply to all Coaching Network members.
2. Who Can Join
Membership in the Coaching Network is open to professional ministry leadership and wellbeing coaches who serve ministry leaders. If you hold a credential from any of the leading certification organizations (ICF, ICCCA, AACC, etc.) or have completed an ICF-accredited program and your coaching practice is focused on pastors, ministry staff, church leaders, missionaries/global workers, and/or parachurch ministry leaders, you are welcome to join.
The network especially welcomes graduates of the Flourishing in Ministry 65-Hour Coach Certification or 45-Hour Coach Certificate programs.
By enrolling, you confirm that you meet at least one of the following criteria: (a) you have completed a FiM Coach Training program, (b) you have completed an ICF-accredited coach training program, or (c) you hold an active, professional coaching credential from a recognized organization. You also confirm that your coaching practice is focused on serving ministry leaders. FiM reserves the right to revoke membership if credentials are misrepresented.
3. What Is Included
All members receive:
- 12 monthly live sessions (first Friday of each month) rotating through Coaching Labs, Group Coaching, and Guest Speaker sessions. Dates and times subject to change.

Refunds are available only within the first 14 days AND only if no sessions have been attended. No refunds for FiM-initiated cancellations.
6. Public Coach Directory
When launched, the directory will be available to annual members with active ICF credentials. It provides visibility, not guaranteed referrals. FiM may delay or decline listings if credentials cannot be verified. Inclusion does not constitute endorsement by FiM or Biola University. Liability insurance of at least $1 million per claim is required for listing.
7. Insurance and Independent Coach Status
Members operate as independent coaches, not employees or agents of FiM or Biola University. Members have no authority to bind Biola or FiM, cannot represent their services as provided by or endorsed by Biola, and are solely responsible for taxes, licenses, insurance, and compliance. FiM and Biola assume no liability for coaching services members provide.
Indemnification. Member agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Flourishing in Ministry, Biola University, and their respective trustees, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, and representatives from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to Member's coaching services, acts or omissions, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
8. Code of Conduct
Members agree to uphold ICF Core Competencies and Code of Ethics, honor confidentiality, engage respectfully, refrain from using the Network as a sales platform, and represent credentials honestly. Violations may result in warning, suspension, or termination. Misrepresenting credentials may result in immediate termination.
9. Use of Member Content
FiM may share submitted resources (with attribution), use anonymous aggregated insights for research, and quote testimonials (with consent). Members retain ownership of their content. By submitting content, Member grants FiM and Biola a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, display, distribute, and make such content available to Network members.
10. Privacy
Member information is collected and stored per our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share personal information except as required to operate the Network or as required by law.
11. Changes to These Terms
Material changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued membership constitutes acceptance.
